MELBA: Music Education and Leadership Benefiting The Arts 

MISSION:

The Melba Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit memorial scholarship organization who's mission is to keep music alive by providing free and/or affordable music education & supplies to those who are committed and passionate about studying music but live in underprivileged communities. The Melba Foundation was created in memorial of Melba DeJoya Alcazar. All concerts and events are sponsored by our generous donors as well as the incredible volunteers who believe in our mission. 

BACKGROUND:

The Melba Foundation distributes all memorial scholarships to underprivileged students who are passionate and committed to studying music as their career. The scholarship funds tuition for private music teachers, conservatories, schools and universities chosen by gifted scholars.  All funding goes towards foundation operations and scholar education and school supplies. The Melba Foundation also produces live music events and fundraisers that help rebuild churches and provide school supplies to establishments in Romblon, Romblon Philippines.
